Minha família é de cinco irmãos, onde eu sou o quarto filho e tive a oportunidade de ser o tutor da jóia ,logo abraçando bravamente o herói e imponente DeSoto , mas conhecido como Galipa. Como novato ,comecei a ensaiar algumas voltas com o Galipa em 1977/78 , para ir ao Colégio Santo Inácio e quando ingressei na universidade PUC , em 1980, fui presenteado pelo meus pais, Ony Coutinho e Janira Silva Coutinho , com o  Galipão pelo mérito .Era uma realidade e a paixão era total pelo velho e robusto DeSoto. Quando completei 27 anos, resolvi reformar o carro para preservar o patrimônio , levando três anos na sua obra de restauração. Registro, que  o Veteran Car Club do Brasil me auxiliou com sua farta biblioteca , os estudos que fiz da marca DeSoto no Brasil e no mundo, como também, quais eram os representantes Chrysler aqui no Rio de Janeiro , e seus chefes de oficina. Só a Chrysler possuía o carro, nas cores preto e vermelho. Modelo adquirido em 1992, da família do Ministro da Fazenda Ernane Galveas. Designer do projetista Virginil Exner, que se destacou nos EUA na década de 50, obtendo premiação máxima em 1955, pelo modelo apresentado .Levou o troféu melhor projetista do ano.
